Such are the tasks Tom and his scientist friends, Joe, John and Phil, are confronted with when Tom discovers the potential demise of Earth within a series of environmental disasters predicted to happen within a short period of time. With the help of a reclusive anti-government genius, a beautiful young woman, and a few good FBI agents, Tom and his friends search for a possible solution to stop the disasters before Earth suffers a complete meltdown. But with the clock ticking, and radical extremists thwarting every possible plan, will Tom and his friends be able to save the planet before it's too late? A high action packed thriller, Meltdown will keep you fused to every page."

About the Author :
Al Biele, or Captain Al, as he's referred to by his friends, is the son of writer and editor, Elizabeth Karl. Seeing his abilities at an early age, both as an artist and a writer, she encouraged him to pursue a career in the arts, but his father, a professional artist in his own right, pushed him toward a career in construction for monetary reasons. After serving in the United States Navy, he owned and operated a construction business with his brothers for 25 years, retired as the CEO of AAP Capital Funding and pursued a career as an artist showing his work at more than 100 dedicated art shows. Upon the death of his mother he decided to take her advice and pursue a career in writing fiction novels predicated on non-fiction material. His love of adventure, humor, compassion, and unpredictable events have helped him create this great new novel.
