About the Book

This is the second edition of the Bhagavadgita Simple Translation, originally published in 2011. This edition contains transliterated Sanskrit text, word-for-word translation, and the meaning of each verse, in addition to chapter summaries and annotations. This is an original translation of Jayaram V, a scholar who has dedicated himself to the in-depth study and profound understanding of India's religious and spiritual traditions. His complete translation with extensive commentary can be found in our other publication, Bhagavadgita: Unveiling the Gita's Secrets, currently available online in many bookstores. Jayaram has translated 18 Upanishads, translated and wrote a comprehensive commentary on the Bhagavadgita twice, and authored several books and articles. His other works include The Awakened Life, Brahman, Shiva Sutras: Mystic Knowledge Explained, Introduction to Hinduism, Essays on the Bhagavadgita, Sadhana Panchakam, Chandogya Upanishad, Selected Upanishads, Think Success, and Being the Best. You can find most of his writings at www.hinduwebsite.com.
