About the Book

We all have secrets in our past. What would you do to keep yours from escaping? Monique knows that keeping her deadly secret inside is the safest way to live. If no one gets too close, no one can hurt her again with the truth. Everyone she loves lives with the dragons outside her emotional walls. Then her neighbor is murdered -- and then a stranger is hacked to death. Monique knows the case isn't a priority for the police; it's just criminals killing criminals. She knows it's better to stay away, but something is driving her to investigate. When she finds a clue to the killer, her world disintegrates. If you like strong women in impossible situations, you'll love Monique. We all have secrets, but hers is going to kill someone. Get this thriller today and follow Monique through the twists and traps of hunting down a killer.

Review :
"This is one riveting thriller that pulls you in and keeps the action going. With a murder of a neighbor, we meet Monique Duchesne and from there the story is in full swing." "Every time you think you know where the story is going, it takes a turn. The plot is tight, the characters are well developed, and the story moves along rapidly. Great book." "Monique lives in the world of an artist and often creates her own problems with her stubborness. She gets her freinds, lover and others in frantic trouble by being a smartass. This time she almost dies." "This is the first time I've read anything from P.A. Wilson, and I'm very happy that I picked this book up. The book starts off on a very strong note; it is definitely very interesting and suspenseful from page one, when Monique, our protagonist's, neighbor was murdered."
