Review :
The Learning Classroom book captures the essential ideas from the Visible Learning (VL) framework. The clarity of the writing is excellent, making complex concepts easily accessible to educators and learners alike. It is an honour to see so much of this work rooted in the principles of VL, demonstrating a deep commitment to evidence-based practices in education. John Hattie, Melbourne Emeritus Laureate Professor and author of a range of bestselling books including Visible Learning for Teachers and Visible Learning: The Sequel Alice Vigors has once again delivered an insightful and practical resource for educators with The Learning Classroom. This book is a must-have for any teacher or leader looking to make student learning visible, shareable and truly impactful. Whether you're a classroom teacher refining your practice or a school leader driving meaningful change, this book will provide the clarity, tools and confidence to enhance student learning. Matt Pitman, head of school and author of The Connection Curriculum Alice brings a wealth of knowledge, understanding and practical examples to help educators bridge the gap between the theory on what works best and effective classroom practice. This book supports teachers to think about their own practice through guided reflection as they unpack the theory to lead them on a journey to refining their teaching practice and create a classroom where all students are engaged and become the drivers of their own thinking and learning. Aaron Johnston, deputy principal, founder of Mr J's Learning Space and co-host of the Teacher Takeaway Podcast
