About the Book

Bernie Spofforth never intended to become a political dissident.

Then she was arrested, publicly vilified, and held for 36 hours over a social media post. No charge followed. But the experience changed everything.

In A War to Win Back Your World, Spofforth traces the money, legislation, institutions, and global frameworks she believes are reshaping modern life far beyond the reach of ordinary voters.

From Net Zero and digital identity systems to migration policy, censorship, and economic control, she argues that power has steadily shifted away from democratic accountability and into the hands of unelected networks, international institutions, NGOs, and corporate alliances.

This is not a conspiracy book. It is an investigation. Written in plain English, with wit, anger, humour and deep research, A War to Win Back Your World asks a disturbing question:

What if the biggest lie of our age isn’t what’s happening… but the belief that you still control it?

About the Author :

Bernie Spofforth is a British entrepreneur, investor, and writer with over thirty years of international experience building, scaling, and leading businesses across both consumer goods and technology sectors. Throughout her career, she has founded and operated multiple successful ventures, demonstrating a consistent ability to identify opportunities and turn them into commercially viable enterprises. Notably, in her twenties, she played a key leadership role in guiding a company through a NASDAQ flotation, an achievement that set the tone for her future in high-level business strategy and execution.

In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Bernie has held a range of senior leadership positions, including CEO and Brand Director roles, where she has been responsible for driving growth, shaping brand identity, and steering companies through competitive and often complex markets. Her experience also extends into investment, having worked alongside private equity firms and international banks to support and scale startup businesses. This combination of hands-on leadership and financial insight gives her a well-rounded perspective on how businesses succeed and fail in the real world.

Drawing on this extensive background, Bernie brings a distinctive voice to her writing. Her style is witty, direct, and grounded in commercial reality, offering readers a clear view of how economics and global policy truly function beyond theory. She focuses particularly on how these forces impact everyday people, often highlighting consequences that go unnoticed or are poorly understood. Known for her straightforward and accessible approach, she has a talent for breaking down complex, and sometimes dry, subjects into engaging and relatable insights. A War to Win Back Your World marks her debut as an author.

Review :

"From 2020 onwards Bernie has been a ferocious researcher on all the important topics that require more attention. When your guts tells you something isn't right - politically or culturally - but you can't quite crystalise what is happening, find Bernie. She will have the answer, using original source material, not a cut and pasted paragraph from the mainstream media. With this book, all the madness will finally make perfect sense."
