Review :
"This is an excellent text on this burgeoning field. ...A very helpful text to gather resources in these times of austerity with a longer view of cost benefit. It also evidences the need to look after staff so they can look after patients. Its strengths are its clarity and the breadth and depth of the subject matter it covers. Its detailed account of the need to take time and build relationships and not give up if it doesn't work straight away is very important." - BMA Medical Book Awards 2016 Programme and Award Winners (This title was Highly Commended in the Psychiatry category) "Although the book focuses on rehabilitation psychiatry, its appeal is wider and it is useful to multidisciplinary mental health teams, medical students and other healthcare practitioners. It is easy to read - the diversity of topics allows each chapter to stand alone so readers can dip in and out of the book as they please. It also functions as a 'toolkit' to support shared decision-making when faced with complexity." - BJPsych Bulletin
