About the Book

The shortest and the hardest journey to make is the inner one. We have many opportunities to do so, yet the only time that we usually undertake this mission is when we have trauma in our lives. Turning inwards is for the sole purpose of finding our Authentic self, it is from here that life takes on a much more enlivened experience that encourages us to choose for ourselves, to honour who we truly are. This book is an offering to facilitate those who are ready to make that trip. It costs nothing but our time and commitment. The question is are you ready?

About the Author :
Omisona Fasina is a speaker, author and therapist, who has a passion for working with high achievers that are ready to let go of past events that have prevented them from getting on with their lives. She has a 20 year history of working with people at various stages in their lives; in the NHS as a nurse then midwife, founder of the charity Parents And Children Together (Birmingham), she has spent many years working in the personal development field. Born in West Bromwich, to the late Ruth and Charles Henry from St. Kitts. The majority of her childhood was to take place in Handsworth, Birmingham. She has 6 surviving siblings,( her youngest brother Craig Romain, Henry, died December 2009) in the UK, and 1 in St Kitts. Educated at Wattville Secondary, then Bournville college. She studied and trained to be State Registered Nurse and then a State Certified Midwife. Later gaining a BSc Open degree at the Open University, Omisona gained qualifica-tions in Health Education, Neuro - Linguistic Programming, Emotional literacy, Health and Wellbeing, and Angelic Reiki. Omisona is divorced and has 2 children; Kyle and Ayesha Jones. It was after her divorce that she became an initiate of the Quan Yin method of meditation and has been practising for 10 years. She has explored many traditions and beliefs systems and feels all hold essential truths none being superior to the other. During a period of transition she changed her name, by deed poll, to reflect not only part of her ancestry, but also her path. Omisona means water is the way, or water open's the way. Omisona was to later meet someone who aside from his therapeutic skills, had the qualities, wisdom and understanding of spirituality that enabled her to take the next crucial steps in her evolution Easton Hamilton, who has after several years become a trusted friend and mentor. She has always wanted to be a published author and InnerView - Choosing Authenticity is her first book.

Review :
What a powerful book this can be - if only the reader will allow it! For anyone feeling a fleeting, or deep seated, sense of emptiness, dissatisfaction, unease with their life as it is, this book can guide them through to finding the route to a more fulfilled and happy life - being the person they are rather than the one that their world expects them to be! Liberally laced with challenging views (you may not accept them all and it's OK to disagree!), breakthrough stories from her client work and practical exercises to start your own 'authenticity journey' the book will challenge the reader to think rather than accept, make their own choices rather than react, create space in their lives to make the most of the present - and so positively influence the future for themselves and for others they impact. If all of us did this, what a very different world we would live in. Jane Hunt, licensed chair for The Academy for Chief Executives
