About the Book

The underlying philosophy of transactional analysis is one of mutual self-respect and caring. The wide range of TA theories and techniques are easy to understand and use. They apply equally well in social, family, educational and organisational settings and can be used by individuals and groups. Called TA101 because this course is provided by an internationally-accredited TA trainer (Julie Hay), to a syllabus approved by the international TA associations. This individual learning digital download edition of TA101 is available as 3 elements (*each element can be purchased separately or part of a bundle, depending on your requirements): TA101 MP3 Digital Audio Recordings (1) * The MP3 digital audio download contains 7-hours of MP3 digital audio recordings of an official TA101 course run by Julie Hay. It includes an introduction to the whole range of TA concepts, such as Parent, Adult, Child ego states, I'm OK, You're OK, strokes and warm fuzzies, games people play, life script, and many others that together provide a great psychological approach to understanding what makes people tick. Find out how childhood interacts with genes to form personalities, learn how to analyse the dynamics within families, classrooms, teams and organisations, and how to apply these ideas to communication and interpersonal skills, parenting, leadership, persuasion and influencing, problem solving, time management, self development, teamwork and organisational change. TA101 Handbook (2) * The TA101 Handbook contains the full set of handouts used during the officially-recognised Introductory Course in TA run by Julie Hay, covering an internationally-agreed syllabus which will introduce you to the full range of TA concepts. TA101 Examination Assessment & Certificate (3) * Inside the handbook is a copy of the official TA101 exam that can be completed by those who have studied each part of the MP3 audio course. This written exam can be completed and sent to us for assessment. Once the completed exam has been reviewed and assessed satisfactorily by one of our internationally-accredited TA trainers, we will issue an international TA101 completion certificate.
