About the Author :
Alex Jordaine is the UK's leading Femdom writer and author of the highly acclaimed 'Mistress' series of novels. He has also been a regular contributor over a number of years to two iconic fetish magazines, 'Secret' and 'Marquis'. In all of Alex Jordaine's 'Mistress' books sexy powerful women are firmly in charge. They control the pleasure and men are there to serve and obey them. 'I thoroughly enjoy turning the usual stereotypes on their head in my writing,' Alex says, 'as well as exploring the psychology of submission, the joys and perils of the BDSM lifestyle, and the redemptive power of love. This last is worth mentioning because, although the books are full of graphic discipline, bondage and domination, they are essentially love stories.' All the novels in the popular ongoing 'Mistress' series are published by Xcite Books and are 'one-offs', so they can be read in any order. Short stories by Alex Jordaine have been included in various collections of BDSM, gay, lesbian and general themed erotica, also all published by Xcite. Eva Hore's work is seen in magazines such as Hustler, Forum, Desire, Australian Penthouse, Leg Sex, XL Magazine, Naughty Neighbors, For Women, Playgirl, Erotic T, Three Pillows and Swank Magazine. Eva has anthologies with Xcite Books in the UK, Delicate Friction, Best Lesbian Fiction 2005, Skin Deep 2, Mammoth Book of Erotic Fantasies, The Collective, Best Women's Erotica 2006, The Perfect Valentine, After Midnight, Just Watch Me with Cleis Press, The Sexiest Soles, Misbehaviour. Gay Quickies, Mammoth Book of Erotic Confessions, Reality or Fantasy with Dark Roast Press, The Long Weekend and Other Stories with No Boundaries Press, The Best of Eva Hore with JMS Books and The Big Book of Bizarro. Elizabeth Coldwell joined Xcite Books in 2011. Formerly the editor of the UK edition of Forum magazine and co-founder of the Guild of Erotic Writers, she has been writing erotic fiction for over twenty years and her work has been widely published in the UK and US. She enjoys writing across the spectrum of erotica genres, from m/m space opera to girl/girl messy fun, vanilla to BDSM, paranormal to contemporary. Shanna Germain claims the titles of Leximaven, Wanderluster, Girl Geek, Vorpal Blonde and Schrodinger's Brat. Her work has appeared in places like Best American Erotica, Best Bondage Erotica, Best Erotic Romance, Best Gay Erotica, Best Lesbian Romance and many more. Visit her wild world of words at Kay Jaybee wrote the novels Making Him Wait, (Sweetmeats Press, 2012), The Voyeur (Xcite, 2012), and The Perfect Submissive (Xcite, 2011), as well as the novellas Digging Deep (Xcite, 2013), A Sticky Situation (Xcite, 2012), and The Circus (Sweetmeats Press, 2011). She has also written the anthologies The Best of Kay Jaybee, (Xcite, 2012), Tied to the Kitchen Sink, Equipment, (All Romance, 2012), Yes Ma'am (Xcite e-books, 2011), Quick Kink One and Quick Kink Two (Xcite e-books, 2010), and The Collector (Austin & Macauley, 1st Ed 2008, 2nd Ed 2012). Kay has had over 60 short stories published by Cleis Press (inc. Best of Best Women's Erotica 2, Best Women's Erotica 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012; Best Bondage 2012, 2013, Sweet Love, Gotta Have It, Sweet Confessions), Black Lace (Sexy Little Numbers, Sex and Music), Mammoth (The Mammoth Book of Lesbian Erotica), Xcite (inc.Ultimate Sin, Boy Fun, Power Play, Threesomes, Finger Music, Tricks For Kicks), Penguin (Oysters and Chocolate; Erotic Stories of Every Flavor), Seal (Oysters and Chocolate; Nice Girls, Naughty Sex), Smut, (Smut Alfresco), and Sweetmeats Press (Immoral Views, Punished). Kay is currently working on The Retreat, the sequel to The Perfect Submissive. Deep within America's mystical Delmarva Peninsula, author and architect Chrissie Bentley collects vintage erotica, believes in ghosts and has a sweet tooth that even her dentist admires. Addicted to writing since she was young, she ran out of time to do everything she wanted so she created a pseudonym to take up the slack. Jenny Swallows blogs furiously, haunts Facebook and composes obscene poetry, leaving Chrissie free to write stories, pay the bills and feed the cats. Visit jennyswallows.blogspot.com to find out more about her, or just write and ask - she loves getting messages, and adores exchanging memories and anecdotes. Described as "apocalyptic" by The Paris Review, Chrissie's novel The Nympho Librarian & Other Stories was a 2012 best-seller on Amazon's chart of books with the word "librarian" in the title; among over a dozen other novels and collections, her other works include Miss America: A BDSM Vampire Tale; the supernatural erotica of Below Blue London ("Bow Bells with blowjobs" is her succinct summary); and three collections of Ambrose Horne's Victorian sex-detective stories published by Xcite. Her latest, a semi-fictional study of the blue movie industry in London in the late 1960s will be published later this year. Chrissie's short stories have also appeared in Best Women's Erotica 2012, the Mammoth Book of Lesbian Erotica, The Bad Girl's Sweet Kiss (published by Xcite and co-edited with Miranda Forbes), various editions of Xcite's Cocktales series and many more. And when she's not listening to Garbage, Jem and Broadcast CDs, playing with the cats or torturing her boyfriend (in the nicest possible way), she'll probably have her nose buried away in Second Life. Where she writes stories, listens to Garbage, Jem and Broadcast, plays with cats... hmmm. I think we're seeing a pattern here. A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
