Review :
'This is an extremely well written book and was vital for my revision for the FRCR Part I examination. The layout is superb. The book divided into sections so that you can revise and look at specific questions in turn. The most useful aspect of the book is the question and answer layout where questions, answers and teaching points are located together which saves you so much time. Just think how much time you have wasted in the past flicking backwards and forwards in an MCQ book looking for answers and then looking for the next question over and over again!!! The book has been written with changes with the RCR curriculum in mind with vast inclusion on MRI and Ultrasound. Not many books available have these inclusions. The explanations given are short, succinct and to the point and explain the reasoning behind answers very well indeed. For the information given this book is a bargain and worth every penny. It's obvious that this book has been written by those who have been through this exam and succeeded!! I can only give this book 5 stars and recommend that you buy this book today' Dr Y Hughes-Roberts This MCQ book is a good companion when reading Farr as its chapters match. It tests the finite details in Farr that would could miss at first glance but could easily be an MCQ in the exam. The explanations after the question are pretty detailed too, meaning you wont actually have to go back to a physics textbook for clarification. A big selling point is the questions about MRI and US which can be difficult to come by. This was incredibly helpful to me in my revision and it was well worth the price. Dr Katie Giles
