Review :
""The Brasseries of Paris" allows you to plot where to have dinner, even if you've lived in Paris for 20+ years and think you know everything. Don't feel constrained to eat near your hotel. Traveling from one quartier to another is simple when you take the metro, and this book allows you to know where to go to eat once you do take the metro." --BonjourParis "A guide to 49 of those unique Paris bars that serve simple meals as well as drink is found in "The Brasseries of Paris". In addition, author Francois Thomazeau and photographer Sylvain Ageorges examine the menus, decor, history and even ghosts associated with these establishments." -Frank Wagner, Copley News Service "The brasseries described here in this charming book (accompanied by evocative color photographs) have their own customs, their own traditions and their own particular stories to tell; they range from the famous (La Closerie and La Coupole) to the historic (Le Procope) to literary haunts (Brasserie Lipp, Le Dome)." -"The Chicago Tribune" "This small new York publisher is producing some of the most innovative, beautiful and rewarding guidebooks on the market." -"Minneapolis Star Tribune" "The Little Bookroom...wants travelers to slow down. They've carved themselves a niche in the over-crowded travel book industry by thinking small with titles that define the character of a city." -"The Pittsburgh Tribune" "For pocket-sized, covetable books, turn to The Little Bookroom." -"Vogue" [UK] "The brasseries described here in this charming book (accompanied by evocative color photographs) have their own customs, their own traditions and their own particular stories to tell; they range from the famous (La Closerie and La Coupole) to the historic (Le Procope) to literary haunts (Brasserie Lipp, Le Dome)." -"The Chicago Tribune" "This small new York publisher is producing some of the most innovative, beautiful and rewarding guidebooks on the market." -"Minneapolis Star Tribune" "The Little Bookroom...wants travelers to slow down.
