About the Book

In this 2013 story, the author argues that we can now mount a massive assault on ignorance for our economic benefit. Lee Eils presents an economic development method that entertains, enlightens and engages us because we artfully tell ourselves the story of managing to create wealth. We thereby make an investment of thought on the page, on a team and on portratelevision as we engage in an organized search for wisdom the author describes as "the practice of philosophy." In digital libraries of audio and video clips, stories of accomplishment told in question and answer form will stimulate new thinking from which we profit through virtual conversation with capable, caring, accomplished individuals. They are drawn to a story built around a sign of economic opportunity that invites you to experience your own genius. With his 19-year-old son, the author has captured the promise of "the cerebral revolution" in art depicting the value of thought. On a YouTube channel called "portratelevision," the author discusses with his son the art they created to represent this library of thought made up of portraits for television submitted by the best among us. This father and son created the "refinanswer" to represent an answer refinery that combines the best in us. We together build "an inspiration system" around a vast digital library to which anyone can contribute and from which everyone can check out - in great conversations - endlessly valuable knowledge and wisdom. We can engage in virtual conversations with capable, caring, creative people whose stored responses to an endless array of questions appear onscreen in exchanges that entertain us, inspire us, educate us and guide strategic action via tutorials tailored by software to our individual needs and desires. This facilitates the thought process involved in developing very good ideas and transforming them into products and services of great value to us in solving problems, in preventing problems in capitalizing on opportunities to make our lives better through an advanced form of education born of the enhanced interactive learning systems function - the e.i.l.s. function - of the internet. Eils describes a journey on which we find the best in ourselves as we build The Economic Network around the story of managing to create wealth. It unfolds in this story on portratelevision and in the studios of portratelevision as we tell stories of achievement in question and answer form to fill a digital library with refined answers. We use the socratic method in making art of life for our economic benefit as we tell the story of thought.
