About the Book

Following the runaway success of The Matrix Principle, which has established Ron Laura and Ken Dutton's revolutionay concept as a major force in international weight training and bodybuilding, comes Matrix for Muscle Gain. Written for those people who have at least a year's weight training experience, the techniques and the programme in this book are directed at increasing muscle mass and muscle defintion without the use of steroids or other drugs. Designed to take advantage of the most recent findings in exercise science, Matrix for Muscle Gain offers a theoretical base to matrix training by explaining the physiology of muscle growth. It also provides general nutritional and diet advice specific to the programme. The 24 matrix techniques in this book form four 12-week programmes of increasing difficulty and training intensity. Each programme consists of core routines for the major body parts as well as specialist training for forearms, calves and abdominals. By the end of the programme, weight trainers should be well equipped for competitive bodybuilding. Those trainers not interested in competing will have achieved that degree of impressive muscularity that characterises the quality physique.
