About the Book
For over 20 years, "GE 700" has been the industry standard for Health and Safety. It is revised annually to take into account the latest legislative changes and new or updated guidance and procedures. Each module is loose leafed and provides practical, accurate and authoritative advice on all the important areas of Health and Safety in the building and construction industry, within the existing legal framework and requirements. Remember, ignorance of the law is no excuse! For the 2007 edition there are two new modules on 'Setting Up Site' and 'Lone Working'. This edition is particularly important as it outlines the requirements of The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007). As a result of the legislative changes, most of the modules of the 2006 edition had to be amended and so extensive were the changes that the decision was taken to restructure the grouping of the modules into more logical topic areas.
