About the Author :
Dr John L Roberts is a British international consultant on macroeconomics and sustainable development, living in Mauritius, who has worked there mainly with the Indian Ocean Commission and the Commonwealth Secretariat. In 2007, he was appointed Associate Professor at the University of Mauritius teaching on a Master's programme on natural resources management. Ibukunoluwa Ibitoye is currently working as a UK government economist. She previously worked as Economic Officer at the Commonwealth Secretariat across a range of international development issues relating to small states and international trade, as well as to human settlements and urban development.
