About the Book

Anthony Holten spent much of his early life travelling the world as a marine engineer. He was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of forty-eight and, due to a combination of a late diagnosis and poor control, he suffered many side effects. This book charts the obstacles thrown in his way along his arduous road to recovery.

About the Author :
Anthony Holten was born near the Hill of Tara in County Meath. He traveled extensively during his marine engineering days in the Merchant Navy before going on to work on offshore oil and gas rigs all over the world. He now lives with his wife and three grown-up children near Glanmire in County Cork.
