About the Author :
Born in Dublin in 1967, Professor Niall Tubridy was awarded his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1991. He went on to work in hospitals in Dublin, London, Paris and Melbourne. Since 2004, he has been a consultant neurologist at St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. He is also a professor of neurology in the school of medicine at University College Dublin.
