Review :
"Learn how to make cards using punches, eyelets, beads, peel-offs, glass paint, polymer clay and more!" --MyShelf.com It's all about the money. Have you seen the price of birthday cards for example? At the risk of sounding like my grandmother, it costs what the present used to cost. But seriously, why not be creative and make your own cards? If, like me, this isn't where your creativity lies, don't give up so easily. It doesn't mean that you can't put together a good enough card to personalise the present without it costing the earth. And especially if there are kids involved. This is where it becomes really fun. Not only will this be time away from the television or computer, it will also introduce a different way of thinking of things. The options in this book are many but it also gives your imagination free rein by showing different ideas and having you think in that way. You can, of course, go the extravagant route where the card becomes the present, but you can also personalise a present with a card that says as much about you as it does about the one receiving the gift. And those are really special. Diane de Beer-Pretoria News
