She is now a freelance journalist writing for national newspapers and magazines on a wide range of issues. Presenter of the new Lover's Guide video, Dr Sarah Humphery qualified in 1992, and her career took her around the world, including working for 6 months as a registrar in Melbourne, Australia. She has been working as a general practitioner in the UK since 1997. She has contributed to lay and medical press and radio on the issues of sexual health and teenage pregnancy, and has taken part in a TV discussion programme on the difficulties women face in combining work and home commitments (she is herself a working mother).
