The Fish and The Turtle is a story set under water amongst coral reefs in the colourful ocean, about a little fish who learns not to panic to find her way home. This beautiful book showcases bright, full colour images accompanied by a rhyming story, which contains a little bit of wisdom and always a delightful ending. Each book is beautifully hand painted in rich oils and photographed at high resolution so you can get a sense of the brush strokes and the detail. They really are a work of art in themselves. The sisters have kept a little reality in each picture, portraying realistic images of the characters, but setting the stories to rhyme which hold a little bit of wisdom in each. About the Author :
Back in 2002, Caron Light was asked to produce a piece of art for her sister's house, as her sister knew what she wanted, but she just couldn't find the concept or colours anywhere. So Caron went to work using a brand new set of paints and a canvas. Her sister was so blown away by the result, which is still hanging in her home, that Caron started to experiment and take on commissions from friends and family. Before long, her art had appeared on Breakfast television and was hanging in retail outlets, bars and hotels and she now also supplies interior designers. She still offers private commissions for clients and can be reached via her website www.caronlight.co.uk. Caron has since illustrated two beautiful children's books all in oils, and created greetings cards, postcards, home soft furnishings using her designs and many private commissions

Bought as a gift, the illustrations are super and the story rhyme compliments the images perfectly. Looking forward to the next book. Any age group could learn from the motto of this story.
