About the Book

With another mysterious cold case on their radar, DI David Lancaster and DS Marie Videt travel to the island of Jersey in the English Channel, to investigate the death of Peter Urbawicz, a retired World War II spitfire pilot, whose death twenty years prior was recorded by the island police as 'accidental'. With his daughter, Lady Stottard, adamant that her father died in suspicious circumstances, can these two detectives investigate without ruffling any feathers? Can they pick apart the facts and route out the clues to prove his death was not an accident, when said facts and clues have lain buried for twenty years? When their enquiries trigger a visit from British Counter Terrorism operatives, the case becomes even more complicated, and they are left wondering how an IRA terrorist, a French boatyard owner, and an ex-East German STASI officer fit into their case...

About the Author :
David Sharp discovered his love for stories from an early age, where his vivid imagination was evoked while being read The Lord of the Rings, leading him to read more books and write his own stories. His love for detective stories inspired him to begin writing his first book For All Your Endeavours, and when he retired, he finally had the time to polish off the story. One of the Few is his second novel.

Review :
"The second book in the DI Lancaster series did not disappoint. Cleverly written, and with flashbacks that drop you right in the action, all the plot points are neatly wrapped up. I can't wait for the next one!" - C.M. Serpell, author of Her, Until Death, and Dead by New Year "Sharp's engaging writing style, well-defined characters and intricate storyline captured my imagination from the offset. An excellent sequel to For All Your Endeavours." - Julian Mitchell, author of Missing on Dartmoor, A Devon Deception, and Pilgrims Revenge
