About the Book

Meet Don Jackson, an entrepreneur, author, spiritualist, and motivational speaker based in Los Angeles, California. With over 35 years of success in the music and entertainment industry, Jackson's journey is a testament to resilience and dedication. Starting in music, Jackson quickly transitioned into concert promotion where he earned a reputation for attracting top talent, including MC Hammer, Boys II Men, Snoop Dogg, and New Kids on the Block. In 2000, he founded J.E. Holdings Inc., a diverse entertainment and ecommerce enterprise encompassing record labels, concert promotion, event management, and ticket sales. Under J.E. Holdings Inc., Jackson's private record label, JEA Records, released saxophonist Eldredge Jackson's debut album, Listening Pleasure, in 2008, coproduced by NBA legend Wayman Tisdale. Raised in the nation's largest evangelical Black church, Jackson's upbringing instilled a belief in boundaries and religious norms. However, a transformative neardeath experience shattered these beliefs, leading Jackson to question mainstream religious institutions and the world's inherent brokenness. Prodigal challenges traditional perspectives on spirituality and identity, exploring selfguided spirituality, the flaws within mainstream churches, and the essence of being a man of God in today's society. Through thoughtprovoking narratives, Jackson reminds readers of our interconnectedness and urges them to embrace their inherent divinity.

About the Author :
Don Jackson is a spiritual memoirist, speaker, and founder of The Prodigal Movement, a global consciousness community inspiring transformation through radical authenticity and divine curiosity. His debut book, Prodigal: Leaving Church and Finding God, is a raw and revelatory memoir that chronicles his journey from religious tradition to personal spiritual awakening. A former minister turned seeker, Jackson draws from reallife experiences, philosophical inquiry, and quantum faith to challenge dogma and explore the sacred beyond the sanctuary. He is also the host of Prodigal: The Podcast, where he engages thought leaders, philosophers, and everyday visionaries in honest dialogues about spirituality, deconstruction, healing, and human potential. Through his writing, media, and communitybuilding efforts, Don is committed to guiding others toward inner liberation, selftrust, and soulful coherence. He currently resides in Los Angeles and is the proud father and grandfather of a multigenerational family rooted in love, legacy, and transformation.
