About the Author :
Christiana Melam MBE is the Founder and Chief Executive of the National Association of Link Workers (NALW). She holds a Masters in Public Health and Health Promotion and is pursuing a PhD in Social Prescribing. Christiana has also been recognised in the Health Service Journal's ‘50 Most Influential Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic People in Health’ list for three consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023), as well as The Telegraph's prestigious ‘100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch’ list. She was awarded an MBE for services to social prescribing in the King’s New Year Honours List 2024.
