About the Book

What does fruitfulness look like in our everyday lives? How can we serve God in the many hours of our waking time? In this horizon-expanding, spirit-lifting book, Mark Greene serves up a liberating view of how God can and does work through us in our daily lives. Whether you are a student or retired, at the gym or at work, at the school gate or in the supermarket, here is a fresh framework for being a fruitful follower of Jesus on your frontline. We don't need a high position, a university degree, or lots of money to have a significant impact for the Lord. What if, for now at least, the people God wants us to love and serve are the people around us? There are lots of stories in this book. They are all about followers of Jesus who have come to see the places and the people they encounter on their frontlines. They are testimonies that God still works powerfully, wondrously, and mysteriously through his people today.

About the Author :

Review :
"This book is accessible, funny and hugely helpful. It will expand your vision of a life lived fruitfully for God in everyday circumstances. More importantly, it will deepen your appetite to live such a life, and your faith that in Christ you can." "Fruitfulness on the Frontline has already equipped thousands of people to live out their faith more fruitfully, meaningfully and joyfully in the workplace and beyond. Of course, the world around us is shifting fast, and so I'm delighted to see this new, updated edition with its strong emphasis upon the dignity and desirability of doing a good job and living out our prayers in very practical ways." "This is a tremendously warm and practical book, filled with encouraging, achievable examples from every area of life. There really is something for everybody: as I read, I couldn't stop thinking of friends, relatives and others who I would love to recommend it to. More than that, this is a book rooted in prayer and built on a strong Christian foundation." "The 6Ms are so liberating! This simple, eye-opening framework for everyday fruitfulness helps us see how the seemingly mundane aspects of our lives do matter and can make a contribution to God's mission. Read this book and be both challenged and inspired." "Fruitfulness on the Frontline has been an amazing tool for Christians wanting to understand what discipleship and mission look like on the frontlines of their everyday lives. This 10th anniversary edition will continue to serve the Church as we step into this incredible moment of mission within western culture." "This is a very dangerous book. If you read it, anything might happen. In particular, you might find that you have to let God out of the safe box you've got him in and let him come with you to your 'frontline' - to the places where you spend most of your life. God doesn't live in churches, and neither do we. God has work for every single one of us to do in those places where we actually live and work. The only question is whether we are prepared to be God's employees." "I've seen this book's compelling framework change the mindset and therefore the lives of many individuals. It has earned its place as the 'go to' book for church leaders in our network and beyond, to help create more confident, fruitful, 24/7 disciples of Jesus and contribute to forming whole church communities that have everyday mission for all God's people in their DNA. It's richly biblical, fun to read and wonderfully empowering and affirming. Whether you're 17, 47 or 77 you'll not only see ways to grow in fruitfulness for Christ, you'll discover how God has already been working in and through you to his glory. And that’s both humbling and exhilarating." "Accessible and uplifting; a great aid and encouragement for all those who long to bear fruit for Jesus. A decade after its first release, the call of Fruitfulness on the Frontline for Christians to live wholehearted, undivided and fruitful lives across their frontlines remains as urgent as ever. At HTC, the church which I pastor, our vision is to see 'every life bearing fruit for Jesus'. Mark's book unpacks something of what we pray our church vision looks like on the ground. I strongly recommend this book to anyone seeking practical and inspiring guidance on how to bring glory to Jesus and share him with others."
