About the Author :
Lucinda Carney is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with many years’ Corporate HR experience leading and delivering system and Culture Change. In her role as CEO and founder of Actus Software she works with a wide variety of business professionals in a range of sectors and shares that knowledge through powerful case studies. Lucinda hosts the fast-growing and Number 1 ranking HR Uprising Podcast. She won the Everywoman Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2016. A member of the BPS, CIPD and the Centre for Evidence Based Management (CEBma), she lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and two children and is a keen netball player in her spare time.

Review :
I'd say this is a must read for anyone involved in change. It’s a really practical book with some great insights and inspiration. I found it a very easy read - it's not an overwhelming 'textbook' style book, it's one you can dip in and out of as time allows. Also found the free downloadable resources really useful. Highly recommend. If ever there was a time to do change well, it’s now. If ever there was a time to really consider the impact on people it’s now. So if you think you need a bit of help in this area, have this in your back pocket and be the superhero your business needs. I love this book it is so easy to understand un like other books in business. This one gets straight to the point and doesn’t waste your time whilst managing to explain in depth. I’ve just finished reading this and what can I say? As an operations director, every chapter resonated with me. So many practical tips and examples that I can use moving forward. It’s given me the confidence to make the change I need to in my business and I now really do feel like a ‘change superhero’. Superb! This was full of useful, practical tips but grounded in research - it does a good job of dealing with the real world not a theoretical business-school or unicorn view of the world. It's also an easy and enjoyable read - plenty to make you think without being dry. Overall I found it encouraging and positive and it maybe rekindled a belief that real change is possible to achieve. A great read for some change thinking! 📚 Love the format of the book, especially the summaries & mini case study examples after each chapter! Must say - it’s a great book for those who want to make a real difference in their organisation & bring creditability to HR & the wider business!
