About the Author :
Serdar Dogruyol is an active conference speaker, teacher, polyglot and a prolific OSS developer living in Turkey, He's the author of Kemal , the de-facto web framework for Crystal. He's currently working as a CTO in a Turkish startup. Starting his career as an Android developer and then later being a Rubyist for more than 6 years, Serdar built large scale enterprise projects with Ruby and Ruby on Rails. As a true Rubyist, he really loves the Ruby philosophy of KISS and DRY. In 2015, looking for a programming language as a better Ruby he discovered Crystal and never looked back.
