About the Book

Six thrilling tales of mystery and adventure from Carnegie Medal-winning author Robert Swindells. Jillo, Titch, Shaz, Mickey and Raider the dog are the five members of the Outfit – a gang of quick-witted, brave children who find themselves in plenty of adventures and solve many mysteries in this gripping series. In 'The Strange Tale of Ragger Bill' a little girl's disappeared from right outside the school. Everyone's blaming Ragger Bill, the ragged man who lives in the school boiler room. But the Outfit are sure Ragger Bill's innocent and if the only way to prove it is to find the missing girl, then that's what they'll have to do.
