It provides actionable guidance for all stages of enterprise architecture and the managing and survival checklists will quickly become your go-to tools throughout the journey. Highly recommended! Peter Lai, IBM Chief Architect, Associate Partner, Account CTO This book is the kind of rare resource that should be read, and read again, by Enterprise Architects (EA) of all levels. A practical, non-nonsense, and clear guide that answers the question "What do I need to know, and what should I focus on doing, to be an effective EA." I wish this book had been available when I started off as an EA. A. Nicklas Malik, Fractional CTO, CTOResources.com, Author of the Enterprise Business Motivation Model A Survivor's Guide to Enterprise Architecture delivers pragmatic, actionable guidance to navigate the complexities of EA, empowering practitioners to thrive on their transformative journey with clarity and confidence. A must have for EAs globally! Wayne Filin-Matthews, Chief Architect, AstraZeneca  and BCS Chartered Fellow and Assessor Valuable survival skills at every turn: An ideal primer for enterprise architects tackling real-world challenges. This insightful and practical guide helps demystify complex systems by providing actionable advice in every section. Neal Fishman, IBM Distinguished Engineer and CTO, IBM In our digital world, a key role for many organisations is Enterprise Architecture (EA). This has been adapted and customised for raised expectations; changes in digital, data, technology practices; and organisations' particular needs. But that has led to uncertainty. Three highly experienced practitioners have honed advice in clear simple language widely applicable. Essential for those aspiring or new to EA, I believe many seasoned practitioners will also value this work to adapt, survive, thrive. Mike Broomhead FBCS CITP, Lead Enterprise Architect, NHS England It is refreshing to see a much-needed emphasis on the behaviours needed to be a successful Enterprise Architect and supplement the necessary knowledge and skills. Colin Smart, Chair of BCS Enterprise Architecture Specialist Group
