About the Book

During the final season of the pandemic, I had received my dream job of DJing in the entertainment industry. The dream job, however, would take place inside the adult entertainment industry. The horrors of the opioid crisis in that venue would vastly outweigh the chaos of current events at the time.

While these events were the experiences that made me want to write this book, I also explore a myriad of other life experiences: being hit by a van at the age of eight, diagnosed with epilepsy at seventeen, and the chaotic mirthful experiences of the entertainment industry that would ultimately lead to my DJ career.

I have also included within my thesis a series of thought experiments centred on recent and current events, starting with the G20 summit protests in Toronto of 2010, the 2012 phenomenon, climate change, and the pandemic, just to name a few.

The crisis in my life, as well as the aforementioned shared experiences of many, make for a relatable and compelling read to anyone from any walk of life. It is the values found in this book that I hope will make for the difference of tomorrow.

About the Author :
My name is Paul Bray. I grew up in the small rural community of Wallaceburg, more commonly known today as Chatham-Kent. I was brought up in a family, able and willing to provide for my brother and me anything our hearts desired. We wanted for naught. This sentiment translated well into my adult life. Having had a manifold of mobility and support enabled me to take the paths in life I so chose. The publishing of my first book is certainly one of those decisions. While the experience has been fleeting, it has absolutely been enlightening. In my youth I had wanted to be writer. At the age of twelve I had wanted to be the next George Lucas, though I had no idea that I would one day be writing about myself. Now in my forties, I am eager to embrace the next chapter in life in the form of my literary works.
