About the Book

The continuance of the epic adventure story of United States Marine Gunnery Sergeant Michael Smith. The son of World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Winner Herald Smith, at age eighteen, Michael volunteers for the Marines in 1967 and is sent to fight on a Swift Boat in Vietnam. Out on patrol on the Cua Viet River one night in June of 1968, his boat is attacked by an UFO, and Michael is taken captive. Carried into outer space he is recruited by none other than the ancient Greek Gods led by Zeus, the King of all the Gods. Originally from Atlantis, the Gods have been fighting in a rebellion of human slaves against an immortal alien race known as the Korantians and their human allies, the Harrapans, for thousands of years! Allied with the Nazcan people, a group of rebellious humans from South America, the Gods have been trying to find a strategy to defeat the Korantians. Zeus and his beautiful daughter, the Goddess Athena, convince Michael to forsake his family and life on earth to join their quest to save humanity from the alien Korantians! Their own planet dying, the Korantians are in the process of colonizing earth to save their species. A development force of 150,000 Korantians has come to the planet on three Supermotherships. They have been employing the human race as their slaves in order to develop the earth in time for the arrival of their main Colonization Fleet. Their development plans, disrupted by the unexpected rebellion of their human slaves in Atlantis, the Korantians have lost control of the human race except for a small group of loyal humans, the Harrapans. Made up of 1000 Supermotherships and containing 50 million Korantians, their Colonization Fleet is due to arrive sometime between the years 2030 and 2100. When their Colonization Fleet arrives, the Korantians intend to take over planet earth, eliminate most of its human population, and enslave the rest. The rebellion has been kept secret from the earth's population by the Korantians and the Atlanteans, each of which has been secretly trying to manipulate the rest of the human societies of earth to enable the development of the planet's infrastructure. The Atlanteans plan to use the infrastructure to resist the Korantian Colonization Fleet. The Korantians plan to use the infrastructure to land and service their Fleet when it arrives. Both adversaries have hidden their activities to forestall hindering social development and thus, human technology. While being trained aboard the Atlantean Mothership Helios, which is orbiting the earth's solar system near light speed, Michael Smith manifests exceptional abilities and traits that the Greek Gods have been seeking to help them achieve victory over the Korantians. The Infiltrators is the Seventh Book of the Perpetual Wars: Special Relativity Series. In this book, Michael Smith and Athena have landed on earth at the Atlantean base in Gordontown, Colorado. They are joined by a team of Atlanteans who will be undertaking operations vital to the rebellion in the United States. Using assumed identities, Michael and Athena travel to Glynco, Georgia where they undertake the first leg of their training to infiltrate the Secret Service by undertaking the Federal Law Enforcement Training Course (FLETC). While they attend FLETC their personal relationship is strained as they are kept apart by the need to maintain the secrecy of their true identities. Unbeknownst to the Atlanteans, the Korantians have themselves placed a Harrapan agent in the Secret Service training group along with Michael an Athena. This agent threatens to uncover and expose Michael an Athena, and their plans! How can a boy from Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.A., save the human population of earth from an alien race and their fanatical human henchman who are intent on its mass depopulation and enslavement?
