About the Book

The adopted daughter of a distinguished starship commander, young Celine is a brilliant student, a promising cadet -- and a secret witch. When a psychotic criminal, bent on revenge against her father, teleports Celinie randomly out into the cosmos, she finds herself stranded on the forbidden planet Nibiru, in the lair of Fianna -- last princess of a dying race of noble dragons. Fianna and Celine face dire perils and overwhelming odds in their quest for the key to the Dragon race's survival, and the lives of everyone Celine holds most dear.

About the Author :
LORNA J. CARLETON - Author Lorna J. Carleton makes her home in Kamloops, British Columbia. A BC native, Lorna is a Safety Advisor for a major utility, while also working toward a university degree. Though she's dreamed of being an author since childhood, and made several attempts at novel writing, The Dragons of Nibiru is her first published work. She drew inspiration for the series from observations of life over the years; chief among them were clashes among diverse cultures, and the struggles of former cult members to get on with their lives and find happiness. While continuing the book series, Lorna is also planning a vacation to the Pleiades Cluster - providing she can find suitable transport (technological or otherwise). RUSSELL WILLIAMS - Editor Russ is a freelance editor and writer, currently living in Phoenix, Arizona - a long way from his native Pittsburgh. In addition to decades spent in the world of words, he's been an educator, a counselor, a publisher, a marketer, part of a cardiac and vascular surgical team, and a clinical researcher. He's even dabbled in construction work, sales and marketing. No matter where he's worked, though, people have sooner or later discovered his way with words, and he's wound up wearing the writing hat once more. This time, it was a dragon princess and her dynamic young companion who sought out his services. Who could say no to such a pair? He's been more than happy to oblige them. www.roundlyworded.com DANIELLE HEBERT - Designer & Illustrator Danielle is an artist and musician now residing in Turkey. She was born in rural Quebec, Canada, where she grew up surrounded by horses, fireflies and nature. She has had a fruitful career as a singer songwriter, recording five albums to date. In Vancouver, BC, where she lived for twenty-two years, she ran Dark Horse Productions, recording music, creating designs for album covers, websites and promotional materials, and producing radio and TV commercials in both French and English. In 2010, she left everything behind and took off on a short solo motorcycle trip - which lasted for two years and covered much of the North American continent. She moved to Turkey in 2013, where she now freelances as an illustrator, translator and musician. www.daniellehebert.com.

Review :
The Dragons of Nibiru is a wonderful blend of science fiction and fantasy that I am sure will be appealing to fans of both. There is space travel, magic, dragons, and a fantasy story that ties itself into the real world in unique and interesting ways. A couple days after I started reading I found myself finishing 60 pages in one sitting, unable to stop! I highly recommend this book by new author, Lorna Carleton. It is the first in a series I look forward to reading more of. - A. C. I enjoy creative books about magical lands, dragons and I am big fan of science fiction. I never expected that I would find in this book such a wonderful blend of these types of genres, which makes it very appealing to all reading ages. Loved the fresh, youthful and yet romantic flavor that Celine and Jager provides to this soon-to-be epic masterpiece. - Carolina V.
