About the Book

Every epic story needs a beginning - this is the Orsus! The pets of an Australian single parent and her little girl are launched in a rocket in search of alien races. After crash landing on the Planetary System of Luna Tribus, a Chocolate Labrador and pair of opinionated albino rats embark on a perilous quest to find their way home. In a universe where it is an act of treason to harbour animals, Ro, an anxious cartographer from Kaleido, Octy, a naive Octavian and Ellie, a runaway from Rectangulum City, must find courage to protect Geo the Space Explorer. This is the first book of a completed 23 book series that will be published in quick succession. Each book is a self contained story, featuring an ensemble of heroes, villains and brown dogs, that over the series tell an even greater epic tale! Series description A mysterious network of corridors, situated between space and time, are the intersection between countless, starkly contrasting worlds; the battlegrounds where tenacious forces of light and darkness engage in an eternal struggle. This is a series of epic tales; of love, friendship, honour and valour, where Chocolate Labradors are never far from the action and adventures. Geo the Space Explorer and his canine counterparts, offer support and crucial insights in a universe that keeps getting bigger; where magic and the concept of an 'alien' is perpetually redefined. Follow key characters, families and dynasties, centre stage to brutal intergenerational conflicts, fight for what they hold dear, as fundamental truths are unravelled. Who created this construct? Who controls it? From theme parks to mines, gaming arcades to motor racing, musical theatre to safaris, join your favourite heroes, villains and brown dogs as an armchair traveler. Allow the Australian authors to draw on their real-world extensive travels to every continent; immersing you in the wonders of our world and those of their imaginations. Laugh, cry, gasp, scream, air punch, question, see yourself, escape, dream. It's all waiting!

About the Author :
Carole Foot has been obsessed with imagining other worlds and realities since before she could read and write. She firmly believes that life is too short to be held back by convention and that anything is possible. Her vivid imagination and capacity to invent extraordinary people, things and places is finally captured in these epic tales. Carole comes from a modest childhood in Australia. She excelled in a career in critical care medicine before deciding to take the plunge and pursue her passion for writing. She hopes her stories will be sources of entertainment, joy and instil hope that good will always conquer evil. Liz Hickson knew as a small child that the secret to a happy fulfilled life was one that comprised lots of travel to faraway lands and many dogs. It is no surprise that she now finds herself the author of fiction books inspired by her many real travel adventures and the Chocolate Labradors who continue to be a constant source of joy and reliability. Liz has always sought to be her best version, constantly striving for happiness and meaning, in at times, a difficult life journey. From her childhood in The United Kingdom, to a high-powered career in clinical medicine that took her to Australia, she is now in a chapter where health, authenticity and her own dreams, have resulted in stories that explore true friendship, other realms and the nature of darkness.
