About the Book

Michael Bossone invites us to join him on a poignant and deeply revealing journey to discover what matters most in our lives. What begins as one man's honest and open inquiry into the true meaning of Christmas evolves into a captivating tale of the blessing of faith rewarded, the necessity of loss, and the eternal power of love. Written one chapter per year for almost 30 years, this is the true story, captured in real time, of larger than life personalities finding truth in incomprehensible mysteries and recognizing significance in small, everyday miracles. Individually, each chapter is a thought-provoking and heart-touching reflection on the importance of living in the moment and cherishing those we love and who give our lives purpose and meaning. Collectively, they tell the universal story of gaining wisdom through the passage of time and the navigation of life's milestones, and then sharing that wisdom for the betterment of family and community. A perfect companion for the annual start of the holiday season or an any-time-of-year reminder of the joy that surrounds us... accessible and relatable regardless of faith or creed, ethnicity or nationality, race or gender... Michael's Christmas Card is an illuminating lens through which we examine our own lives, and an emotional guide to find the beauty in each and every day.

About the Author :
Michael Bossone lives in the intersection of his intense passions and his perpetually reflective mind. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A. in Philosophy and Theology) and New York University School of Law (J.D.), he has dedicated his professional life to helping university students, academic leaders, and business executives achieve happiness through excellence. Michael was born and raised in an Italian-American family on the Jersey Shore and has lived most of his adult life in Scottsdale, Arizona. He now roams the globe chasing adventures, exploring cultures, and making friends. He cherishes his wife and soulmate Tressy and his adult children Aidan and Aria; they think he's pretty cool too.

Review :
"In this collection of Christmas letters we find not the humdrum recitation of the past year's events in someone's life, but an authentic search for Christmas's meaning through the events of that life. In contrast to many vapid Christmas stories and rituals, Michael's honest and moving letters reveal the ways in which the mystery of Christmas touches a heart and shapes a life, and invite us to open our hearts to that mystery." Rev. John Jenkins, C.S.C. 17th President of the University of Notre Dame "This beautifully written series of one man's annual Christmas letters is a compelling read, even for a non-religious person like me. It is at once honest and touching and offers a rare look at the spiritual growth of an introspective person over 30 years." Trish White Dean Emeritus, The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law "This beautiful and deep book is a rare blessing. It comes to us in the form of a personal meditation on all the good that Christmas can represent. It's filled with wonderful characters, memorable experiences, and special places that will remind readers of what's most important in life, and perhaps even rekindle the love and joy that we're all meant to experience along the way. Good luck reading the last few chapters without real tears." Tom Morris Author of The Oasis Within, If Aristotle Ran General Motors, and over 30 other books "This book is a reminder of how beautiful the journey of life truly is. Sometimes we grieve the things that will never happen, other times we remark on the magical moments that seem to have no other explanation than faith. Michael's extraordinary way of catching those moments, year by year, takes you on a truly personal journey. One that will inevitably have you reflect on the story arc of your life as well." Anne Therese Gennari Activist, Influencer, and Author of The Climate Optimist Handbook
