About the Author :
Jenny is an American author with deep cultural ties to her ancestral roots. From childhood, her love of books, music, and storytelling has inspired her passion for writing. She is a graduate of The Latin School of Chicago and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at DePaul University. She has decided to follow her heart and fulfill her lifelong calling by writing the books she has always wanted to share. The Adventures of Jenny and the Calm is Jenny's first published book. But stay tuned-more are on the way!Between creating and writing, Jenny enjoys the simple, yet profound, things in life-staying active, laughing, meditating, admiring butterflies, hugging dogs, watching her organic garden grow, expanding her mind through reading, filling her soul with loud music, capturing moments through photos, talking to spirits, hanging laundry under the sun, eating healthy food, laying in the grass, gazing at the stars, praying to the moon, singing off-key, watching flowers blossom, connecting with friends, cuddling with those she loves and always chasing rainbows. Jenny is lovingly married to her soulmate husband and devoted life partner. Together they believe in embracing each day, counting their many blessings, and always leading with love. Julie Edwards is an award-winning artist, children's book illustrator and designer. She lives in a dusty corner of the American Southwest, where blue skies and desert flowers paint the world around her. Julie earned her degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Phoenix. She is the proud daughter of an Air Force veteran and enjoyed her childhood while living in Japan, England, and the USA. Her cultural experiences have influenced her illustrative creations to have a blend of both Eastern and Western art styles. Julie relishes hibernating in her painting studio and bringing her creative visions to life. Nicolo Luigi Tortorella (Nico) is a renaissance artist for the modern day. As an actor, vanguard, and dedicated champion of the LGBTQIA+ community, they are using their voice to educate and break down stereotypes. Nico began their career in Chicago's live theater scene. A short while later, they moved to L.A. and landed the roll of Razor on the television series Make It or Break It. Subsequent television roles have include Cole in The Beautiful Life, Jacob in The Following, Josh in Younger, and Felix in The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Nico has also been in movies portraying Tobias in Twelve, Trevor in Scream 4, Jake in Trespass and Officer Simon Varner in Odd Thomas. Nico is the creator of the acclaimed podcast series The Love Bomb, author of their poetry collection all of it is you, and memoir Space Between. New projects include a children's book, Thomas in The Mattachine Family and William in City on Fire. Nico strives to use their celebrity to champion the marginalized. No matter the question, Nico believes the answer is ultimately love.

Review :
"This book, The Adventures of Jenny and the Clam, is an artfully crafted tale that I hold near to my heart...It is a microcosm of the poetry, humor, song, dance, pride in heritage, family roots, and vintage storytelling that I grew up hearing...And it's all in rhyme!"
