The action comes to Jackson's own beloved hometown of Yellow Springs in a wild showdown that may bring a family back together or shatter it forever.

Review :
Private investigator Jackson Flint is a classic gumshoe. He hangs out in his cubbyhole office along a back alley in the picturesque village of Yellow Springs, Ohio. A single dad, Flint lavishes affection upon his teen-aged daughter. He cooks her wholesome meals, Jackson is a health nut, and he works out with his best buddy, a hulking Goliath named Brick. In "Fair Game," he takes on a bizarre case of a missing person. This story reminds me of the Elvis Cole novels by Robert Crais. Jackson, like Elvis, is a relaxed, wise crackin' sort of guy. Brick is a bit like Cole's lethal sidekick Joe Pike who sprints up hillsides with a rucksack full of boulders. Brick gets his kicks by hauling around pieces of an old automobile. This mystery is cleverly crafted. There are gritty stakeouts in Dayton and a wild climax. Scott Geisel has written an entertaining, compelling story. But it is more than that. "Fair Game" is a big, affectionate mash note to the community of Yellow Springs. Vick Mickunas, Book Reviwer, Dayton Daily News
