About the Book

Sara Rebecca grows up in her family's vineyard and learns to weave from her grandmother. The only girl in her family, her brothers tease her but protect her when she works with them in the vineyard. One summer, she falls in love with a shepherd who disappears with the king's flock without a word. She longs for him to return for her, but with spring, word comes she is to be taken to the capital as a prospective wife for a prince. How can she marry someone she does not love?

About the Author :
Peg O'Morrow Parker was born and grew up in and around Columbus, Ohio, the oldest of five children. She is a transplanted Buckeye living in Katy, Texas. A graduate of THE Ohio State University, she has been a newspaper reporter and editor, volunteer mom, medical transcriptionist, and writer of fiction and nonfiction. She posts regularly on her blog, www.thecleftforlife.com. She serves as a prayer partner at Lakewood Church in Houston. She has two sons, two daughters-in-love, and seven grandchildren. She is also the author of a book on a faith title The Cleft For Life: Making Time for God.

Review :
Judith: Weaving Love's Hidden Pattern engages the reader in a charming love story. Although this coming- of age tale is set in a land far away and long ago, the personal journey of Sarabek is timeless. Emerging from the ever- optimistic little girl to the tomboy tween to the gracious aspiring bride, she comes to understand how the subtle influences of people and events are woven together into God's plan for her future. Particularly for the young reader, Sarabek serves as a model of nurturing a budding romance without compromising one's values. Overall, this character- driven novella celebrates the rewards of faithful love and commitment to God and family. Melanie: Good read. Great picture of how God plans perfectly our future. Beautiful flow of storyline. I was drawn into the story and wanted it to continue! JJJ: Great book, easy read.
