About the Book

Jou velkleur maak jou nie vinnig, sterk, slim of gevaarlik nie. Ek wil sommer skree: “Dis net vel, my pel!” Epi se ander naam is “Vel”.

About the Author :
Dr. Nina Jablonski is ’n antropoloog en paleobioloog wie se navorsing oor die evolusie van velkleur al in talle vaktydskrifte gepubliseer is, insluitend Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Nature en American Psychologist. Sy is die skrywer van verskeie boeke, insluitend Living Color: The Biological and Social Meaning of Skin Color en Skin: A Natural History.

Review :
En onthou, dit is net vel, my pel.” – Stefaans Coetzee “Drs. –Dr. Lynnette Mawhinney, professor in stedelike onderwys, skrywer van Lulu the One and Only “Hoekom is ons verskillende kleure? – Uju Asika, skrywer van Bringing Up Race en A World for Me and You “’n Vriendelike en toeganklike inleiding tot die evolusie van velkleur. – Kathy Stinson, The Bare Naked Book
