About the Author :
Lauren Grabois Fischer believes in creating books for young children to empower them to love who they are, to be kind to everyone that they meet, to respect all living creatures, to feel like they can make a positive change in this world, and to be true to themselves always. As an elementary educator, she knows how important reading is and how an inspiring book can really make a huge difference. As a mom, Lauren is always looking to create books that she would want her children to be reading. Every book that she writes has a positive message and an inspirational lesson to learn. Devin Hunt has been a professional illustrator and artist for 25 years. He has been illustrating all of The Be Books since 2015. Devin enjoys collaborating on the characters and design for each new Be Book. His goal is to create illustrations that embody Lauren's inspiring and uplifting vision. Devin lives in New York with his wife and two sons.

Review :
It's one thing to tell your child they are special, it's another to prove it. This book helps kids prove just how special they are no matter how different from others they may be. It helps kids see the silly to explain the truths about the world... it's ok to be different!!! Being different is good, and fun, and exciting, and special!!! - Meredith This book so thoughtfully shows how wonderful it is to celebrate each other's differences. There is such a great lesson here about how to treat others and ourselves. Thank you for yet another great story and important lesson Lauren. -501C3 Non Profit Organization
