About the Book

Choice is your greatest power, but we only have a choice when we have knowledge to go along with it. TL;DR (too long; didn't read - an option within each chapter): This book is for everyone who's asked, "Why do I know the Pythagorean theorem and not how to do my taxes?" It's not about telling you what to do, it's about gaining the knowledge in order to make your own informed choices. End of TL;DR. The information in this book is based on both scientific research and the experience of relevant experts. Rather than saying, "DON'T DO DRUGS", this book says, "This is what drugs do to you, make your own choices". A person should have knowledge of their possible actions and consequences of those actions - not a preacher. The book covers a myriad of subjects (Money, Sex, Laws, more) and shows how to: build wealth and make sense of the stock market and other investment opportunities, understand taxation, prepare yourself for the realities of the working world, assert your lawful rights as a US citizen, make a plan for a successful future, and much more. In addition, two other short books are included within: 1) The Way to Wealth by Benjamin Franklin and 2) you, You, YOU are the Philosopher by Alvin Chester

About the Author :
Daniel Hofstein is a patented inventor, published author, former: axe-throwing range owner (sold 2017), casino pit boss, accountant's assistant, school teacher, Realtor and property manager, and more. When Daniel was 18 years old, he had already established an entrepreneurial mindset through playing poker in underground casinos throughout Chicago, investing in the stock market, buying and selling goods online, and other various small businesses, as well as traditional work at an accounting firm. Through these activities, he had saved nearly $40,000 by the time he went to college. His first year in college he failed to pass a single class, was arrested on felony drug charges, and kick out of the dorms. He eventually got his act together, transferred to UNLV, and graduated at the top of his class. Daniel Hofstein holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Emory University.

Review :
"This book is written in a way that anyone can follow. It's informative and fun to read. I enjoy the multiple views and its open approach to let the reader think." "The information Mr. Hofstein provides is so fundamentally important in our day-to-day lives that it is a shame we are not taught this in school. This book will be a tremendous aid to those who read it." "If you could go back and speak to your "High School self"...what would you say? What lessons would you wish to instill in your younger version of yourself, and what things do you think you'd need to know in order to go "far" in life if you could "do it all over again"? These are the questions that the author works on answering. Through personal stories of being arrested, and how to react and grow from such experiences. From how to avoid the experience if you haven't had the misfortune yourself, to what to do or say once you have "messed up", much of what Mr. Hofstein is looking to convey is based on a combination of Data and personal experience."
