Review :
"Elmo, Big Bird and their Sesame Street friends talk about their feelings and how to help resolve conflict in the pages of this book. The author provides five simple steps for parents and caregivers to help children navigate challenging situations. This book is full of colorful photographs of diverse children and puppets alike. The Sesame Street gang shares simple, relatable experiences to clearly communicate what they might feel like in situations of conflict and what they can do to solve such problems. At the back of the book is a resource about ways to calm down, as well as a simple explanation and photograph of Belly Breathing. The pages on Belly Breathing would make a great poster for any preschool or early elementary classroom or for a young reader's bedroom wall. The Let's Talk About It series is an asset for preschool and early elementary school teachers, or for parents helping their little ones to begin learning about conflict resolution. Reviewer Rating 5" -Children's Literature -- (11/14/2022 12:00:00 AM)
