Hello, My book is based on personal experience that relates directly to leadership, behaviours and cultural change. In order to get the best out of people, Leaders need to first understand how their behaviour can directly impact a team either negatively or positively. The results can lead to business success through adoption of true cultural change. People help to make companies successful, therefore, it makes sense to invest in learning how to get the very best out of them.I have used my experience over the years in many industries to write a 'to the point' book, especially for management on how to change a culture through leadership and driving lean and continuous improvement.Basically the Do's and Don'ts off Good Leadership and how their behaviour plays a large part of whether a company will adopt cultural change successfully or not. I have successfully changed a culture, so what I mention is proven and has achieved excellent results.Understanding Leadership behaviours and impact on cultural transformation.If you want to change a culture, then I suggest you first need to understand the different management styles and understand people and the effects that certain management styles can have on people, along with team dynamics. Additionally, you need to understand how individuals can influence teams as well. Believe me they do. I have over 35 years, experience of Manufacturing and working with people. I have worked with many different people from all walks of life. People and their behaviours fascinate me. I have learned much over those years and would like to share my experience with others. People are people at the end of the day but how can we get the best out of them? People can do amazing things if you only trust and believe in them. When you finally realise that, then you will see what amazing looks like. Yes, it can be done, I am proof of that, people believed in me and they know who they are. If one person can do that, many people can learn to do that. Imagine the results where managers and leaders, learn to untap that potential and then imagine what they can do for the wider teams. One becomes many and you start the snowball effect going down a hill, building momentum and size as it goes. That belief managers had in me, I have also applied to see the same outstanding results. Trust me here, if you learn to listen to your people, encourage open communication, empower them to change, motivate them and encourage them through praise and recognition of their efforts, it will make a difference. You also need to support, mentor and coach them to be the very best they can be. To think outside the box, problem solve and come up with ideas to continually improve the business and themselves. They can't do this themselves and that is where you come in. You need to make them believe that anything and everything is possible, but first you need to believe it too. This book will hopefully open your eyes to management styles and how they can impact teams positively or negatively. What you take from this book will be up to you. This is not based on just theory, the book is based on real life experience, observations and discussions with many people over many years. Yes, I am under no illusion there will be people out there that will disagree with comments in the book and at the end of the day that is up to every individual's interpretation of the book. As human beings all of us make mistakes. The key part of developing as individuals is by reflecting on our mistakes and learning from these. If we do that then we all become better individuals/leaders. Leaders who will ensure that people perform as teams to drive and bring about change. True cultural change transforms businesses and ensures a happy and productive work force.Why not read the book and judge for yourself?
