About the Book

Pure John's greatest error was the same as his father True John's... not being a good father and husband. They gambled, played with other women, and played with minds. Drinking was not beyond them, because the good people of the Church branded them as evil-doers and heathens, even though the young ones were taught to be better with better lives, but young Piccard Black needed to be strong. And young Piccard Black was also meek. The girls loved him for being meek.Piccard was the greatest pirate that plundered the banks of Cuba and Brazil on land and at sea with a stealthy crew of twelve children on a boat built upon a crucifix with an orange sail and gold paint. The head crest was a lion and a star of Jesus. They were all children aboard the ship with weapons made out of wood and light.Piccard's weapon was a serated sica that had a wooden frame and a layer of aluminum. The other children had similar weapons that were swords, spears, and tridents. The weapons could float and the shields could help them swim. Nets could catch fish or help them fight each other during games. The holy cup and ambrosia protected the children, and everybody wanted to kill them for power. But they had never actually fought. They survived the battle when five ships cut down the his father's Ghost Ship, on a small crucifix that they rebuilt a new boat upon. And now the journeys of Piccard Black and the Ghost Ship begin.Capt. Black is a suggestion to Marvel Comics about Cuban-Afro-American Black Panther sagas about the violent and swashbuckler father and son True and Pure Black... and their more innocent, meek grandson Piccard who is nurturing a dark side.
