About the Book

Jerry Jenkins has been presented with such awards as the Christy Award and the Platinum Book Award from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. The number one New York Times best-selling author of the Left Behind Series picks up where his momentous novel Soon (K1101) ended. Silenced continues the futuristic story of double-agent Paul Stephola. Following World War III, religion has been banned. Although a believer, Paul also works for the government agency responsible for persecuting Christians.

About the Author :
Dr. Jerry B. Jenkins, former vice president for publishing and currently chairman of the board of trustees for the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, is the author of nearly two hundred books, including the bestselling Left Behind series. Twenty of his books have reached the New York Times bestsellers list, seven debuting at number one. Formerly editor of Moody magazine, Jenkins is now a contributing editor to Writer's Digest, and his writing has appeared in Time, Reader's Digest, Parade, Guideposts, and dozens of Christian periodicals. His nonfiction includes as-told-to biographies of Hank Aaron, Orel Hershiser, Walter Payton, Nolan Ryan, and many others. Jenkins owns the Christian Writers Guild, which mentors and trains writers. Pete Bradbury has appeared both on and off-Broadway and at many of the leading regional theaters across the country in plays ranging from Shakespeare and Molière to Edward Albee and David Mamet. He has also been seen on the CBS miniseries Sally Hemings. A former company member of the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, Bradbury received his training in their three-year advanced program. He lives in New York City with his family.
