Sean McMeekin is a professor of history at Bard College. His books have won numerous awards. In 2010, he won the Norman B. Tomlinson Jr. Book Prize for The Russian Origins of the First World War and in 2011 the Barbara Jelavich Book Prize for The Berlin-Baghdad Express. In 2015, he was the recipient of the Arthur Goodzeit Book Award for The Ottoman Endgame and in 2016 the Historian's Prize. Richard Poe, a professional actor for more than thirty years, has appeared in numerous Broadway shows, including 1776 and M. Butterfly. On television he has had recurring roles on Star Trek and Frasier. His films include Born on the Fourth of July and Presumed Innocent. Poe is a well-known and prolific audiobook performer and the winner of numerous AudioFile Earphones Awards.
