About the Author :
Karl Ove Knausgaard is an award-winning Norwegian author whose autobiographical novel cycle, My Struggle, spans six volumes which have been translated into over fifteen languages. This international success was coined "Scandinavia's greatest literary event" by Helsingin Sanomat and sold more than 600,000 copies in Norway alone. His debut novel, Out of the World, won the Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature, and his second novel, A Time for Everything, was longlisted for the 2010 International Dublin Literary Award. Edoardo Ballerini is a two-time winner of the Audio Publisher Association's Best Male Narrator Award, a two-time winner of Society of Voice Arts Awards, and was named a Golden Voice by AudioFile magazine in 2019. Martin Aitken holds a PhD in linguistics and gave up university tenure to translate literature. His translations have been published on both sides of the Atlantic and have appeared in the Literary Review, AGNI, Boston Review, and A Public Space, among other publications.
