About the Book

She came to cook. Love was never on the menu.

After a public meltdown torpedoes her culinary career, chef Chloe Foster reluctantly agrees to a hush-hush job as private chef to Hollywood's clean-eating heartthrob, Charlie Davis. But instead of sunny L.A., she's shipped off to a remote island off the coast of Maine... in the dead of winter.

Stuck in a sprawling mansion with a moody A-lister who barely eats, Chloe's hoping to keep her head down, cook her heart out, and regroup. But Charlie turns out to be more complicated-and more tempting-than the tabloids suggest. Then there's the rugged local lobsterman with a quiet strength and a wicked smile, who offers a different kind of heat.

With her career hanging in the balance and her heart pulled in two very different directions, Chloe must figure out what she really wants: the dream job that once defined her, or the messy, mouthwatering life that's taking shape on the edge of the Atlantic.

The Only Catch is a delicious love story with a recipe for heartbreak, healing, and second chances-served with butter and a side of steam.

About the Author :
Jess Turner began her career as a journalist and spent several years working for newspapers and magazines before realizing that she only wanted to write romantic stories. A New Englander to the core, she grew up in Maine and currently lives in Vermont, where she hatches schemes, pretends she's the mayor, and does not ski. She loves to bake cakes, read about powerful women, listen to trashy celebrity podcasts and make hideous crafts with her daughter.

Review :

“Welcome to The Only Catch, a story of irresistible suitors, culinary masterpieces, and one badass chef, who, sick of life’s prescribed menu, is choosing all her own ingredients. An absolutely delicious debut that will have you coming back for seconds.” —Kristen Simmons, author of the Article 5 series

The Only Catch is a beautiful debut about starting over when life doesn't go the way you planned. With characters you can't help but root for, Jess Turner serves up a heartfelt reminder that even after everything falls apart, there is still so much left to find—especially when it comes to love.” —Meg Anderson, author of The Memory of Borrowed Books
