About the Book

A full-color exploration of DMT beings and Ayahuasca spirits • Examines 25 of the most commonly encountered DMT entities, from machine elves and fairies to insectoids, Reptilians, and divine beings such as Grandmother Ayahuasca • Discusses each entity in depth, including people’s encounters with them from trip reports and scientific studies, descriptions of how the entities appear and behave, and communications or teachings they impart • Features visionary art by Sara Phinn Huntley and other artists, including Alex Grey, Andrew Jones, Luke Brown, Juliana Garces, Erial Ali, and Harry Pack One of the features consistently noted by visitors to the hyperspace realm invoked by DMT is the existence of many different entities. In this full-color illustrated handbook for understanding the intelligent alien species of hyperspace, psychedelic explorer David Jay Brown and visionary artist Sara Phinn Huntley explore 25 of the most commonly encountered DMT beings and ayahuasca spirits, from “self-transforming machine elves,” ancestor spirits, tricksters, and metallic spheres to insectoid mantis beings, reptilians, gray aliens, nature spirits, and divine beings, such as the Virgin Mary, Gaia, angels, Grandmother Ayahuasca, and deities from Hindu, Egyptian, and South American spiritual traditions. Profiling the DMT entities in the style of a naturalistic field guide, complete with evocative illustrations by Huntley and other artists such as Alex Grey, Andrew Jones, Luke Brown, Juliana Garces, Erial Ali, and Harry Pack, the authors discuss the entities in depth, including people’s encounters with them, descriptions of how they appear, and summaries of the communications they impart. They explore whether these beings are generated by our minds or if they exist independently of the DMT trip. Providing a comprehensive exploration of this world, this guide seeks to describe the alien residents of interdimensional space and help people who have encountered DMT beings integrate their experiences.

Review :
“The psychedelic version of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. We know where to find them, and now we know what to expect. New species will be discovered, others may die out; but this compendium of DMT beings provides a most exhaustive snapshot of our day’s varieties.” “The DMT experience is fundamentally about exploring and traveling to unknown or forgotten realms: realms that are unutterably strange and yet strangely familiar. These realms are inhabited by intelligent beings with much to teach. Like any challenging and perhaps even perilous journey, it is important to prepare and to be willing to learn from the experiences and hard-won knowledge of others. David Jay Brown’s Illustrated Field Guide to DMT Entities, with entrancing images by Sara Phinn Huntley, is an essential companion for all serious travelers whose mission is not only to go boldly but also to return with lasting and worthwhile insights.” “DMT is fascinating for many reasons, but not least because it seems to provide ready access to a hyperdimensional realm populated by a vast collection of non-human, intelligent, and apparently independent entities. Often these entities seem to have a message (or many messages) for our species or the individual psychonaut, weighted with portent. Whether DMT opens a portal to universes not mapped in any cosmology, or whether these entities are denizens of the unexplored depths of the mind, they definitely seem to have a classification system and characteristics that are familiar to many psychedelic voyagers. In this book, writer David Jay Brown and artist Sara Phinn Huntley unpack and present, in detail, what is currently known about the DMT entity phenomenon and provide a helpful field guide to those you are most likely to encounter in your rambles in the outer fringes of psychedelic experience.” “From the Lilliputian to the Brobdingnagian, from the magnificent and multi-armed to the demonic and to the divine, this is the most beautiful, comprehensive, and, I dare say, indispensable guide to the resident fauna of the DMT realms. You won’t want to venture into the hyperdimensional hinterlands without this field guide in your back pocket.” “The best bestiary on hyperspace denizens so far. A must-read for all intrepid psychonauts, interdimensional diplomats, and cosmos passport holders. David and Sara have created the ultimate guide and extraterritorial exploration of the dazzling variety of DMT entities lurking within your mind or just beyond your glass pipe. A real hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy.” “This stunningly illustrated and comprehensive field guide is an essential item for the map compartments of travelers of the Nth-dimensions.” “While you’re tripping on DMT Often beings come out of the Me Brown and Phinn’s new anthology Is a good xenobiology Of some creatures you’re likely to see.” “A perfect balance of interesting and informative text alongside visually spellbinding images that spectacularly capture a glimpse of the DMT experience with astonishing accuracy and aesthetic splendor. The collaboration between author David Jay Brown and graphic artist Sara Phinn Huntley has resulted in nothing short of a masterpiece.” “Brown and Huntley's taxonomy illuminates the psychedelic landscape, offering a long-awaited framework for better understanding DMT entities. Balancing on the razor’s edge of revelation and mystery, he unveils the complexities of what lurks in DMT-induced realms, while providing us a tantalizing feast of story. This illustrated field guide is a beacon for the intrepid psychonaut.”
