Elbert Hubbard (1856-1915) Elbert Hubbard was an American writer, philosopher, and publisher best known for A Message to Garcia, an enduring lesson on initiative and responsibility. Kyne (1880-1957) Peter B. Kyne was an American novelist and screenwriter renowned for The Go-Getter, a classic tale of perseverance and ambition. A prolific storyteller, he wrote adventure and business-themed novels, many adapted into films.
