About the Author :
Gerry Souter hizo su carrera en el Instituto de Arte de Chicago y luego prosiguió sus estudios artísticos en la universidad de esta misma ciudad. En su calidad de artista, Souter ha expuesto en el Instituto de Arte de Chicago, en el Museo de Arte de Phoenix y en otras muchas galerías. Como autor, ha escrito más de veinte libros desde 1997, muchos de los cuales han gozado de gran éxito. Sus continuas investigaciones en historia del arte y arquitectura, la agudeza de su prosa y su experiencia visual le añaden un matiz dinámico a su análisis de las vidas de los artistas y a la descripción de sus obras, manteniendo al lector cautivado página tras página.
