About the Book

NYPL's Best New Comics for Adults "Turns with the unpredictable intensity of a dream." — FOREWORD (Starred Review) “An offbeat quest wrapped up in dark fantasy.” — BOOKLIST “An unmissable addition to the pantheon of adult fantasy literature.” — BROKEN FRONTIER "Dahm is simply a storyteller par excellence." — SOLRAD An anonymous parcel delivery boy arrives at a sprawling, chaotic mansion, in search of The Resident, who must sign for the package he bears, but this isn’t nearly as simple a task as it should be. The mansion hosts an endless, frenzied party, and the partygoers impede his every step. As the quest takes him further into the dripping, black bowels of the labyrinthine house, his mission galvanizes into his single purpose for existence, and his determination to find The Resident may well prove his undoing. A phantasmagoric dark fantasy unlike anything you’ve ever explored before, from the wild imagination behind RICE BOY and THE HARROWING OF HELL.

About the Author :
Evan Dahm was born in 1987, growing up in Asheville, North Carolina. He's been a resident of Brooklyn, New York since 2010, and has been creating and self-publishing comics online and in print since 2006. Review :
"The story turns with the unpredictable intensity of a dream. . . . Dahm is simply a storyteller par excellence. It’s hard to put the comic down once you start." — SOLRAD "A beautiful book, full of striking moments, gorgeous detail, and emotions ranging from manic euphoria to despair." — WARREN PEACE "Dahm’s artwork and storytelling is very Henson-esque all the way around." — SMASH PAGES "The Divine Comedy meets Jim Henson’s Workshop in this daring comic." — NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY "Best New Comics for Adults"
